Nova was already scheduled for euthanasia due to severe skin infection. Nova only got three hours left to live when Love Leo Rescue saved her from the local shelter. Right after her rescue, she was rushed into a vet clinic so she can receive treatment. However, due to the severity of her case, even the staff members of the clinic weren’t sure where to start.
Upon arriving at the veterinary clinic, the vet induced Nova with IV fluid for rehydration, and she was given antibiotics for the infection right away. Thankfully, after spending some time in the animal hospital and getting medications, her infection was gone. She is ready to leave the hospital and face a new life with a new family.
Due to her adorable nature, Nova comfortably settled in her new home and became friends with her foster siblings in no time. The dog was confident and playful; she didn’t have a hard time getting along with her new family. However, her happy days turned into a nightmare once again when she became seriously weak.
Everything went from happy to weary when Nova acquired the deadly disease called Parvovirus. She was taken back to the veterinarian immediately to do further tests. Nova had to endure too much pain again due to her condition.
Days passed, and Nova’s behavior became erratic. There were days when she was very frail, which caused too much worry to her caregiver. Luckily, as she was born a fighter, she managed to overcome the disease and became healthy again in the next couple of days. Nova once again shined like a bright and robust dog.
After some time, Nova has fully recovered and is at the peak of health. The dog became close to another dog named Harper, and the two dogs became best friends. Nova now lives a happy and healthy life.
